About Us

McCarver Moser grew up with an eye for beauty and a gift for connecting with people. Roland Moser grew up in Switzerland, trained as a watchmaker, and later studied jewelry design in Paris, working with Rolex along the way. When the two met in St. Louis in the 1970s, the connection was immediate. After years of living and traveling through Switzerland, Lucerne, Geneva, and Paris, they chose Sarasota as the place to plant roots and build something lasting. In 1979, McCarver & Moser Jewelers opened its doors, and it has never closed them since.

Over 45 years in business, we have watched Sarasota grow and change. What has not changed is the way we work. Every customer who walks into our Sarasota flagship or our Longboat Key boutique receives the same unhurried attention, the same honest guidance, and the same dedication to finding or creating exactly the right piece. We are proud to be the only fine jeweler serving both downtown Sarasota and the ultra-affluent community of Longboat Key, and we take that responsibility seriously every single day.
